emeraldlion
So I thought I had scored when I bought 2gauge inverter cable(8 ft) for 35 bucks at harbor freight, but failed to read the tag that said 300amp max. Now I know we do not run a constant amperage this high, but I new that the batteries are capable of higher than this to crank and start accessories initially. I just wanted to check to make sure this was a kosher route to go. I'm still learning on the electrical side of things.
beermanpete
No problem as long as the length is reasonable. The original battery cables are 4 gauge (smaller) so you should be fine.
