280z4me2
Friend of mine has a milling machine and I get free sheet metal. Was looking around for a shock cap bearing that would work if I make camber plates. I noticed all of them are listed as pillowball bearings. I'm not that familiar with camper kits. Is a pillowball necessary or will something like this work http://m.summitracing.com/parts/IDT-MSD52130 ? I don't see why I would need the full range of motion out of a pillowball top. cockerstar
You need a bearing that can handle forces both horizontally and vertically. That bearing is only designed to provide support in one direction.
johnc
Search on the term "spherical bearing" or "monoball." Pillow ball is an obsolete term.
