Wangan280 Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Hey guys, just a few questions for the Veterans of the swap, this is my first, and I'm new to forced induction. I've read a lot about it, tutorials and blah blah, but I'm a college kid so I have a semi low budget, and bought the motor to throw in my 83zx to have a little fun. I'm looking for 225hp-250hp to the wheels, something mild and to learn the basics of the motor and keep my bank account alive. My swap will include everything needed, ECU, harness, motor/turbo, etc etc for 225-250 I'm guessing I need intercooler bigger injectors turn up the boost? not sure if the stock turbo can handle that. (Already have a 3 inch with no CAT) Any input is welcome, potential problems with the swap and things to look out for. Thanks! Jordan PS Mine has a digital dash...the new swap comes with an analog...I was wondering if I can switch them? letitsnow Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 (edited) I used a stock EVO 8 unit, it lined up nicely with the holes in the core support.
