Just found this product, it sounds really good. Im looking to restore gas tank.

Its a product called "Rusteco R-200-3" (http://www.rusteco.com/details.htm)

Has anyone used this product? whats your experience with it?

Or what would you recommend for my specific job.

Your feedback is really appreciated.

I personally love KBS Coatings! I've used their products on my build and believe in the easy of use and functionality of the entire kits they offer.

KBS coating is the way to go! I used it for my 75 gas tank resto, it came out great!

how did you apply the coat inside the tank? did you pour it in there and move it around?

Yes, the kit comes with instructions. You put it in there and shake it around to coat the entire inside. When pouring it out it may be difficult to get it all out, so to prevent large build ups i kept rotating it periodically after i drained all that i could.

rust removal... I.have used farm grade molasses mixed with water... mix it all in a big plastic tub. let soak. won't take off paint but will totally destroy rust.. cheap and effective... look up molasses rust removal on youtube. kinda neat... after that it will obviously need to be coated with.something. just another option for ya. I never heard of.the product you mentioned
