John Scott
As the JTR manual states, The V6 T5s are too weak for the V8s, different input shaft, and a really too low 1st gear, 3.76. A wimpy 220 lb-ft rating. JS
Guest ScaryFast
I found a v6 five speed in a junkyard and was wondering if it had the same bolt pattern as the ones on the v8 cars. My buddy says it should but wont give me his reasoning behind this. <--just thought it was funny
randy 77zt
if you have the bucks just get a world class close ratio t5 from summit.even v8 ford t5 had a funky 1st gear so mustang could run a 3.08 rear.if you want to convert a v8 to to wc close ratio is 6 or 700 bucks plus installation-so in the end the $1100 from summit for all new trans is a deal.
