phil280zxt Posted May 6, 2012 Share Posted May 6, 2012 My only experience is with the turbo 280zx ECU's. If that is what you are inquiring about you should have no problem running an 82 on your 83 Z. The only restriction that I know of is you can't use an 81 ECU in an 82/83 without adding a set of dropping resistors to the injector harness. The 82/83 ECU's had them in the ECU.
