At bare minimum go with tokico blues or similar, but sectioning and a good damper are good things. What is the intended use and ride height of the car? RebekahsZ Posted August 25, 2012 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Stock shock is cheap enough to try. If you don't like it then upgrade. If you don't road race it probably doesn't matter in my opinion. Over the years I have done lots of upgrades on a car that spends most of its time driving the speed limit. And if they spend some time and effort they can drop their 60' times with proper shock valving and springing. A while ago I worked with a drag team that was running an all motor Honda CRX and with slow motion video, an upgrade to Koni 8212s, and some valving changes we pulled .2 out of their 60' times.
