butch9
my "78 280z will only start if: the ignition is in "on" and the emergency brake light is lit up. sometimes when i turn it to "on" the light will not come on, and the car will turn over and fire, then quit almost immeadiately. sometimes it will quit immeadiately even if the brake light did turn on. has anyone had this problem before? if so, solutions? thank you for the input. dexter72
Check the electrical part of the ignition switch, Clean the connection and check the switch wires, for proper voltage in on and start mode.
