Guest Anonymous Posted October 22, 2000 Share Posted October 22, 2000 OK when i purchased this car i did a compression test and all were 145 accept 3 and 6 .; that was on cold. then after warming hte car they all were 140. which i said i guess thats ok if they come back. then the oil pressure was good, now (1 month later i have no oil pressure at all.or sometimes it goes up a very little. 1 am i screwed. 2 can the rings be that problem. any tips, help anything would be appreciated. zach Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
randy 77zt Posted October 22, 2000 Share Posted October 22, 2000 put a test gauge that is mechanical on engine.the stock sender goes out somtimes.if presure is low remove pan & check rod bearings and pick up tube.if rings were that bad you would be smoking.smell oil to see if it is gasoline contaminated.good luck Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
