Guest Anonymous Posted December 7, 2000 Share Posted December 7, 2000 what is it with turbos? i can always find a great n/a engine but never a good turbo with low miles!! so.. i got a post in the wanted section but i figured if i post here id get more responces.. anyone have a good turbo engine for sale? id like to get a engine, tranny, and diff. off a 1982 280zx TURBO with p90 heads and a f54? block that runs good/great! let me know. thanks. I looked around quite a bit and the lowest milage one i could find was one w/ 115k. Knowing the straight 6 lifespan, i figured I could easily get 100k more out of it. Guest Anonymous Posted December 8, 2000 Share Posted December 8, 2000 thats a bunch for ted's number, just gave him a call and he said he had a few left [one thats working!] and to call him back tommorow when he can give me more info! looks like i may get a decent deal on a turbo w/ 80k miles on it!! im looking for something that i could do some mods to, sds fuel control, turbo upgrade, and some other minor things.. do you guys think 80k is to much to put that stuff on? running an intercooler would be one of the first upgrades i did.. i talked with another guy that used to build turbos for the zx's and he said he was running 400+hp on an engine w/ 100k+ on it so i dont think 80k is to bad [providing it wasnt mashed to the ground].. thanks guys.
