luseboy
Hey, So I am looking for a rear disk brake kit, and a member on here offered me up a vented rear disk kit he pulled from a 280zxt. In my research I have figured out that the calipers are from a 1987-1991 rx7. I have yet to figure out what the rotor is from, it seems to be from a toyota cressida but not sure. It's kind of funny because I already bought a front kit made from 1993 rx7 calipers. Anyways what I'm trying to figure out is whether or not these calipers will bolt onto my Z. Looks like there's a bracket of a similar fashion to a typical 240z rear disk kit bolted to the 280zxt control arm. He is including the companion flanges and stub axles (already found out the stubs won't work in the 240z strut ). Anyways here's a few pics, wondering if I can bolt these rear calipers/adapters and rotors to my 240Z. I will be re-drilling my stubs to 5x114.3, so 5 lug is no concern. Thanks in advance!! luseboy
Sure seems like it'd work to me. Here's another pic. The stubs are re-drilled 240z stubs as far as I can tell. And the bracket looks like it'll fit on the Z strut. Anyone have any insight?!
