kp910 user
Hybrid Friends: I have a question... how much oil is needed to fill to correctly a L24 with e88 head and L24 maxima block? I have a modified oil pan to fit the engine into my KP910 and I don´t know how much is needed to fill it correctly. I been looking for some info and I could not found it in this and other forums.greetings friends! Edited January 29, 2013 by RB26powered74zcar Edited title to help clarify. Xnke
You are the only one who can determine what your modified oil pan should hold. That said, I'd start by looking at the service manual for the Maxima.
kiwi303
Without a LOT of details of the modifications NO-ONE can tell you how much oil to use. Your best bet is to obtain a stock unmodified pan, consult the manual and pour in the specified amount of oil and check how far below the rim of the pan the oil comes up. Then take your modified pan, pour oil into it until it reaches the same level below the rim of the pan and measure how much that is. I have a modified oil pan
siteunseen
Does your motor have a dipstick? Pour it in slowly so you won't over fill.
siteunseen
Not trying to be a smart but wouldn't the "FULL" mark on the dipstick still be where the pan meets the block, no matter what size the pan?

Yep. Fill it slowly until the dipstick says "full", and you're done. Edited January 29, 2013 by TimZ
