Guest Anonymous
I'm getting a 4 barrel intake for my datsun, I know I can't use the stock fuel pump, how much pressure should my new fuel pump put out? I plan on getting a holley 390cfm carb, upgraded ignition, headers, rebuild w/ forged flattop pistons(maybe stroke it) and pollish heads, then cam, and finally NITROUS. Not sure if I should leave the automatic or go for five speed. How does this settup sound? Also I was just curious if the four barrel intake would fit on a ford I-6(I think its a 4.1)
Guest Anonymous
I run the stock pump on mine without the return system and it works well. I just removed the fuel rail setup and put a one way valve on the return hose so that it could vent, and put the feed line straight from the pump to my carb. I think I get 6.5 or 7 psi but it has been a while.
Guest Anonymous
If you have fuel injection (which I assume you do based upon your screen name) then you have to change the fuel pump or get a really good fuel pressure regulator. Guest Anonymous
73 240----- how do you like your 4 barrel setup? What intake are you running? Is your engine mostly stock? How about linkage? I'm considering it.
ninja240z
Sky is the limit with a Z induction some set ups work better than others. I am running both one z with 2 bbl (daily driver) and another z(bracket racer)with su carbs. Down draft carb university.
