Guest Anonymous Posted January 15, 2002 Share Posted January 15, 2002 I'm putting a Holley 390cfm carb on an Arizona Z intake and noticed the linkage on the carb hits the intak and you can't open it full throttle without using a space in between the carb and the intake. There is also a different number of bolt holes on the intake then what the stock manifold had. Are there any other problems I will run into while doing this? I use a ford 2 bbl carb and a custom cable made with moutain bike "V-Brake" cable parts. Works very nice. Never have linkage in my car for throttle agian. Guest Anonymous Posted January 15, 2002 Share Posted January 15, 2002 sorry everyone for the multiple posts....you may have a problem with the flange thickness of the intake compared to that of the header.
