Guest Anonymous Posted January 20, 2002 Share Posted January 20, 2002 well i have been of the bord for a wial due to computer problems but im back also my 1982 280zx was hit and totaled on dec 22 ... i curentily have been building a 1973 240 body 4 pice raceing harness turbo seats centerline 12inche wide wheels front and back custom wail tail fin ... i have droped my 1982 280zx motor and top loader 5 speed in : this motor was makeing about dubble what it made stock : im curentily puting in the clutch peddle set up and geting a guy to compleatily rewire the lights :sence the car was a drag car nun of this was needed: and im hopeing to have it on the road soon ... exactily what is the wiaght diffrance in the 73 240 and the 82 280zx? also is the speedo cable the same? :i have mine on my trans but not under the dash yet..: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sorry I can't help you on the weight difference or speedo cable, but I'm guessing that the 240Z is at least 500 lbs lighter than the ZX.
