Guest Anonymous Posted April 11, 2002 Share Posted April 11, 2002 Ok this is the deal: when i try and trun the car over it sounds as if its really really weak, barely turning over at all like the battery is dead, but my battery is fully charged, and sometimes it will turn over faster then stop. I was wondering if this is a starter problem. I think the starter isnt makin as much power as it is supposed to, like one of the field coils is shorted. Just wanted to know what you guys think. rags Posted April 11, 2002 Share Posted April 11, 2002 First thing I would do is change the battery cables and clean the terminals on the battery and starter as well as the contact patch on the block for the negative cable.
