jessejames
My sr20det sprang a leak on the oil feed to the turbo. The car was running fine before this. I got the car home. I replaced the line. During the installation i removed the intercooler piping from the hot side to get the lines on. I took the car for a drive, everything seemed fine. A few days later i tried to take the car for a drive and it hesitate and shook the car. I was also not building boost. I got the car home and removed the intercooler piping thinking it was a leak. I very carefully replaced the the piping. The car will now barely start. It will have a very rough idle for a few seconds and then shut off. During the idle the Afr is 16 or 17. I disconnected the MAF. It made no difference. I noticed the fuel pressure was dropping as well. I removed the vacuum line to the fpr and had a steady fuel pressure of 43psi. Any ideas . Big Ben
Is this a stock turbo SR? Check the clip on the wastegate to make sure that is still there. It does how ever sound like a boost leak or some type of vacuum leak. Check again for boost and or vacuum leaks.
