Or, perhaps someone here can answer a simple question; Are the stock intake manifolds on 70-75 Z's all interchangeable? I saw a website that offered the manifold alot cheaper than did MSA. Thank you! Guest Anonymous Posted June 28, 2002 Share Posted June 28, 2002 The 4 barrell intakes (with carburators) for the Datsun L 6 come up on eBay and may have one now on auction.Also Zcar.com has a large classified section that may may have a 4 barrel manifold show up from time to time and you can enter a free wanted ad too.This manifold apparently fits all L 6's Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Anonymous Posted June 28, 2002 Share Posted June 28, 2002 Clifford performance (6=8) still sells the manifold as well, they've been marketing 6 cylinder speed parts for most 6's since Moses was in short pants. The expensive part is the holley 390 cfm 4bbl carb which they want a fortune for at MSA, check with Summit Racing or Jegs, it'll be cheaper for the carb there.
