eds240z Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 I have a 73 240z with a F54/P90 combo, tripple webers & msa 6 to 1 headers. i installed a msd 6al, unllite distributor, msd coil & 8920 msd tach adaptor. I wired the tach adaptor according to one of the tach threads and I got my tach to work. Here's my issue... At idle its fine and reading correctly. I rev it up still works good. Even rev to red line still working great!! But the problem occurs once I start driving. Take off in 1st up to about 2500rpm then shift to 2nd rpm would go back up normally than all of a sudden drop to zero and stay at zero until I almost come to a complete stop.
