Guest Anonymous
I installed an electric fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator and I was wondering what pressure should I set the regulator at. Its an L28 with SU carbs. Thanks Lance
Dan Baldwin
How to Modify book says 3 - 3.5 psi, but the crew chief behind the fastest ITS car in the country told me 4+. Mine are at 4.
Guest HIGHRPM
I've tried my 260 at several different pressures and found that 4 pounds worked the best.I found with my setup that 4.5 pounds flooed my fuel bowls as the needle and seat couldn't hold it back and at 3 to 3.5 there was a lean period at WOT. Lockjaw
Mine are set at 3 psi right now, according to my summit fuel pressure gauge. The regulator is set at 4 psi. Not sure what is up with that, but I enlarged the hole in the return line of my fuel rail so it would flow all the time. Keeps the gas cool, and the fuel filter full as well.
