Guest Anonymous
I bought what was supposed to be a freshly-machined LD-28 crankshaft many years ago but just stuck the box in the corner of my garage until recently. The thing is that while I'm sure that it is a 6 cylinder Nissan crank, I don't know if it is an LD-28. It has the second half of the part number forged into one of the counterweights: P3040. According to my Nissan dealer, the LD-28 part number ends with V0790. An L-26/L-28 ends with P3000. An L-24 has a totally different number. Does anyone know what I have? 240Z Turbo
from what I remember, the V07 means it is an LD28crank. I called my local nissan dealer and asked for the part# for an 81maxima diesel crank.
Guest Anonymous
But my question was what car a 12200-P3040 crankshaft was for. I've already eliminated the 240Z, 260Z, 280Z and Maxima diesel as possibilities.
Kennysgreen280zt
I think the crank I pulled out of the ZXT motor had the casting of P30xxx on it. I cant remember and it is long gone
