Guest TAlchemist Posted September 18, 2002 Share Posted September 18, 2002 ok, well i am tryng to rebuild my l28 and i am putting on my new water pump. well the bolt that goes all the way through the pump, through the timing cover, and into the block. The long 6mm inside bolt rusted and broke it is different than all other face bolts and i need to replace it. since it is different i need to know how long it is and get a new one. The easy way to find out is to measure how long the bolt has to be to get to where it starts threading in, and then add about 5mm for threads.
