boarderline
Hey guys, I have an issue I can not figure out. I have a rb25det in my 1990 z32, I just got my z32 ecu modified to run a rb25det and Nistune type 2 board installed on it. I can not connect to my ecu on my laptop, every time I try to connect to say Consult not connected COM6:spare, or what ever port on my computer I am plugged into. I have checked and double checked my wiring and test ohms from the consult plug to the ecu plug and everything is good. I have good power and ground. I have checked the diagnostics to make sure my ecu isnt in limp mode. comes up with code 55 ( no current diagnostics) and started my car and it runs and revs over 2500rpms. My computer ports seem to be working fine, they see the consult interface and knows its by Nistune. I don't know what else to do or check?? Any ideas?? boarderline
I am using a Dell windows 7 laptop. I'm not sure what you mean by change comm ports? It automatically finds the one its in.
dexter72
I was thinking that maybe you could manually switch to different comm ports through the nistune software. I have Megatune and you can do that, with it. Is Nistune compatable with Windows 7??...
boarderline
I am not sure if you can, I also haven't really tried that. It is compatible with windows 7. On the consult interface everytime I press connect, the rx light flickers indicating that the pc is sending out a com signal but that's as far as it gets
Bernardd
Usually that indicates the rom is corrupt. Best to post this in the nistune forum.
