Guest Anonymous Posted August 31, 2002 Share Posted August 31, 2002 ive had this car for 2 years drove it from houston to detroit but before winter last year i was driving it and it slowly lost power no umph when i got it home it would not turn over engin cranks an cranks but no fire have spark out of selonoid but not out of distributor just replaced dist. still no fire could somebody please help i love this car but im getting so pissed at it i need help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Grog Posted September 1, 2002 Share Posted September 1, 2002 Steve, Do not to fret: sounds like your coil went bad. You can get a new aftermarket coil such as a Blaster 2 from your local autoparts store and it should work just fine. Plus, they are cheaper than the stock Datsun coil and have more power.
