Synlubes Posted January 20, 2003 Share Posted January 20, 2003 I think this is what your talking about - The bottom(biggest)nut holds the ajuster assembly in the head. Both the top and middle work as the ajuster pivot and lock nut. The top is the ajuster pivot and the middle is the lock nut for the pivot. Loosen the middle lock nut to ajust the top pivot ajuster. Then tighten the middle lock nut after valve ajustment has been made. It`s a good idea to ck ajustment after you tighten the pivot kock nut. Hope this helps!
