Ok got the secondaries woking, re-jetted the Holley 750(65's up to 74's), adjusted the timing again.

Took her around the block a few times.

She sounds MUCH better.

Let me know what ya think.

If this link does not work just go to my web page using the geocities link at the bottom

Same link as before. http://www.geocities.com/kc6wfs/240z/240zsnd.rm

hehe Thought you guys would get a kick out of that.

Tomarrow I'm going to disconnect and remove the ebrake assy. I know the rear is like 1 1/2-2" lower than stock. So when you get on it and the rear squats the rear u-joint just touches a swivel for the e-brake.

Pisses me off!! Plus I got to drive with the handle up at a 45 deg angle, not good for the breaks!!!

So now I'll have to figure a work around for the ebrakes.

Any ideas anyone???

Thanks Pete.

Ahh Did some more tweeking to the timing,

Replaced the power valve with one that comes in later, and FINALY fixed the E-BRAKE problem. Now it does not rub the rear U-joint.

Thats a good thing!!! rolleyes.gif

I'd do some more audio but you guys are probable getting tired of that. hehe.

I'm going to replace it with a video hopefully this weekend. Going to try to get a 1/4mi run in Sunday if it does not rain out at LACR. They have jr dragsters this weekend.

Can't wat till my daughter turns 8.

1 1/2 years to go.

Might have found an answer to my muffler quest smile.gif Summit sent me an import catalog (lol). Their section on mufflers has a few with 2.5inch inlets in stainless with the coffee can outlets that I desire, one with upturned dual tips looks interesting. Cost is $200 each (!) but that's much better than the $400+ I'd been seeing (!!).

Oh, and I had to laugh - if you got this catalog look at the sections where the stickers are sold. "Powered by stickers" - yup most of them seem to be!
