cleton-z Posted January 21, 2001 Share Posted January 21, 2001 I NEED HELP WITH MY Z,I WENT AND BAUGHT A 83ZXT FROM THE YARD AND REBUILT IT,IHAVE GOTTEN SO MUCH INFO FROM THE FORUM BUT WHAT I REALLY NEED IS SOMEONE TO GO OVER THE INSTALLATION OF THE STOCK WIRE HARNESS INTO A 77,280Z I DO PLAN ON RUNNING A SDS SYSTEM BUT I WANT TO GET MY CAR RUNNING WITH THE STOCK 83ZXT ECU FIRST.I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THE HELP THANKS CLETON-Z Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Evan Purple240zt Posted January 21, 2001 Share Posted January 21, 2001 Arg, turn off the caps! If you are going to swap to SDS, dont bother with stock wiring. Just do the sds. It sounds like you are planning to just get the motor to run. Do you have money for sds right now? if ya do id just go straight to that! Guest Anonymous Posted March 14, 2001 Share Posted March 14, 2001 I did a 260/81ZXT several years ago and can't remember specifics, but I do recall that of all the connections, there were only a few that involved tying the turbo harness into the existing harness; ign start signal, ign run, fuel pump relay, battery pos, battery neg, I know it took me a long time studying the wiring schematics of both cars before I figured it out.
