Ron240zxt
Just curious is there any benifit over a Automatic Turbo Oil pump over the Manual Turbo Oil Pump. If So what are the benifits and Flow rate differences if any? Thanks Ron 240zxt
DAW
The A/Ts have an OEM oil cooler air/oil and M/Ts do not. I assume the A/T pump is a higher volume pump and if you think you'll run an oil cooler the A/T would be the better choice. Just a side note, an interesting feature of the LD28 engine is a water/oil cooler unit incorporated into the oil filter base assy. clint78z
Just remember there will be no benifit if you do not run an oil cooler. Since the pressures are the same, the extra flow is needed for the cooler.
240Z Turbo
Flow difference is roughly this: Auto-13.8 GPH Manual-9.6 GPH I don't remember the specific #'s, but this is roughly the flow difference between the 2.
