NylonAdmiral Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 I'm reaching a point where I need to buy a gearbox for my RB26 install and wanted to check if there are any differences between RB25 gearboxes (donor model/year etc). I've used the search facility on this and a number of other sites but as far as I can see, there don't appear to be any differences in terms of ratios or design although I did find one thread (elsewhere) which was suggesting that boxes from R33s may be stronger for some reason although this seems to only be anecdotal.So my question really is, is there any particular preferential gearbox choice or are all RB25 gearboxes the same?
