is there anyone out there who has the "tunnel" window that arizona zcar sells? -i've heard that these types of windows cause sever aerodynamic problems.

but with the Zcar's stock hatch being shaped like a damn aircraft wing, how much worse could it make things?

Hate to be the one who bears bad news, but unless things are changed Arizona Z quit selling that part over a year ago and has no plans to begin selling them again.

I used to have the Pantera style hatch on my 260 and it did display ill handling characteristics at speeds over 80MPH. I would just switch back and forth when I was taking it to the cruise that way it still looked good when I showed it.

i figured it would cause problems.... - i was thinking about making one myself out of a rusty old back hatch and fiberglass since (as will mentioned) arizona quit selling their body panels...

oh well.. let arizona stop selling them.. arizona zcar sucks...

thanks for the replies!

just how severe is the effect on aerodynamics with the pantera style rear end?? my car is being built for top 170+ speeds and i really don't want to have a suptrise at that kind of speed. wold it make a differranc since i'm not using a hatch to build it on. i'm planning on taking out the hatch all together and welding it in with sheetmetal.

BTW, my next door neighbor has a lift in his nice new house. Nothing like a garage door that is oversized with an extended ceiling for his pretty new lift! Oh, the point of my story is that he has an immaculate Pantera sitting up in the air on that lift. The hopped motor made 284hp&331ft-lbs @ wheels and he let me drive it one day. It was cool and very loud. Ok, later!
