BLKMGK
Nah, ScottieGNZ has already done that. Mostly stock motor turning 11.1 in the quarter shifting into OD at the 1/8th mile mark. He just put in a 'Vette rear so he could get better gearing, I'm expecting to hear about a 10second timeslip any day now
Scottie-GNZ
That Rogue Vette is a serious ride with some serious $$$. That is a Buick Stage II engine.
Guest Anonymous
he claims that the GN engine is wider than the 350. Is this the case? I would have figured a 60 deg. engine to be narrower than a 90 deg. V.
Scottie-GNZ
The GN engine is a 90* V-6.
Guest Anonymous
OHhhhh. I don't know where I got that. Is it a whole lot wider, or just a little? Is it mostly manifolds, and if so, can you use a more compact header or something?
Scottie-GNZ
In Grumpy's list of engine dimensions, here is how a SBC, Buick 3.8L NA and Buick 3.8L turbo compare: SBC 26W 28L 27H Buick NA 26W 23L 28.5H Buick Turbo 30W 23L 30H Since the Buick NA and Turbo are the same physical engine, the difference is in the turbo and DP.
