Nice picture of where a Roadster Dash use to be smile.gif

It looks like a 68 ' to 70' high windshield car.

I had three 2000's . I am down to just pieces

of one.

there is a short green female wire coming out of the turn signal. then there is a long green female wire going into somewhere deeper. there is a female black with yellow and a male blue with white......and also 2 black wires that are just in front of the firewall. but they are cut......

any idea what this mess is ???? tongue.gif

Let me know what year Roadster it is and I will look up the wiring schematic

or look at my Roadster in the backyard. I can try to locate the link to the Roadster

wiring schematics there is a place on line with them.

Go here:

I think that, for the most part, the wires do only connect one way, as in, you can't inadvertantly switch wires around.

If you signals aren't working, chances are good that it's cuz the crappy switch mechanism is gurbed up. This is VERY common. I have had mine apart twice to get it working again. It's always a temporary fix. The stupid design has all the juice running thru the lame little switch.

Pete has a really good write up about a fix: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/pparaska/turnsgn1.htm.

I was gonna do that, but then I got sidetracked. I am planning on following Owen's lead and doing this:

which may happen in conjunction with Pete's Relay system.
