Guest Anonymous
tHE MAIN PROBLEM WITH THIS IS THAT THERE IS NOT JUST 1 TYPE OF RELAY The standard type (if i remeber right cause i don't have one infront of me) terminals: 30 fused power source 87a(check this one to make sure) to lights radio ect (stuff you want turned on or off) 85 and 86 is the electro magnet that does the switching for you one side goes to ground and the other to a 12v switch or tapped into your high beams to turn in your driving lights or whatever you can think of also called switched power cause you can switch the power on or off from this either the 12v or the ground not being connected Help you? timh
Go to Painless Wiring's website. Somewhere in their tech articles is a nice diagram and instructions for installing a fuelpump or electric fan relay.
Guest gprix1
Here is a fuel pump rewire using a relay. You can use this as an example for anything else you need to wire up. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/pump-relay.html
