The internal regulator has the two pronged plug going into the side at the far bark while the external regulator has the two pronged plug going in to the back. jaime240z Posted August 24, 2002 Share Posted August 24, 2002 If you're having problems with charging system, make sure you rev the motor past2500 rpms to "turn on the alternator.
