Take a wild guess where the starter is. Pretty HOT design IMO, but compact bonk.gif . Would work great in a Fiero!

If you go to thier page, check out the projects. The sand buggy that's pictured in the upper left is pretty bad@ss! I have lots of pictures of it, if anyone is interested.

I've got one I'll sell you cheap. It's taking up space in my garage. It's got very low miles on it(maybe 200) The oil has never even been changed. It's practically a brand new engine. I've never run it though. I can email you a pic if your interested. I'll take $700 for it.

Don't get the bellhousing from CHRfab. Get the trans and bellhousing from a V6 '93+ F-body(Camaro/Firebird). The bellhousing will require very little mods and the 5spd is a World class T5. All you will need would be a flywheel from CHRfab. Get the Holley Commander 950 from them as well. You can run the stock EFI intake and injectors(included with the engine I have). I would recommend a remote water pump also. Alan at CHRfab got that idea from me. We have spoken extensively about the Northstar conversions

Sounds great Jamie. But 1, I most definitely can not afford to bo that route just yet... And 2 You're half way there..If you were going to do that conversion. That would be very unique!!!!

Well guys, I'm a Horsepower junky. Bottom line is, that motor CAN make enormous HP. But, I can't afford to do it either. To make the HP I need, takes big bucks with the Northstar. I was all ready, and had the bugs worked out. Then decided to get a 351W that I had built years ago from my brother. Then(now) I have decided to use the LT1 from my Z28 with the 6spd. So, maybe one day I'll use that Northstar. It's not costing me anything sitting on the pallet, so, I'll just sit on it until I need it.

I dont think you want a Northstar. My father ownes a shop. About two months ago we had one come in needing a rebuild. You wouldnt even begin to believe how much the parts cost for that little jewel. As far as we could find there was no aftermarket availible we had to go to the dealer for everything. If I remember right a set of rings ran us close to $500!! I am pretty sure the gasket set was even more!
