dexter72
This is a trick some old timer mechanics taught me. If you cant get the one you need. You can align the clutch disc with your finger tips. There is enough space between the pressure plate and the flywheel, to put 2-3 of your finger tips in. You feel around the clutch assembly in 3 areas pushing the clutch disc to where its centered, to the pressure plate. Then start tightening the pressure plate bolts by hand, crosshatch. Been doing clutches this way for 30 years, Imports and domestics. I have never had to redo it because a trans wouldnt slide in. Works every time. Worked on Domestic cars for 8 years, Toyota Dealership mechanic for 4 years. Now 18 years as a Nissan Dealership mechanic.
