Guest scca
interested in getting 10 people together for a purchase of SDS units. this is a one time arrangement and the discount will end up at 20%. i'm planning on buying one in Feb or so. this should allow xmas to be gone and ready to get to the car for spring. there are 2 others interested but will need 10 to get this rate off. ------------------ Mike mike@fonebooth.com http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes.html raceparts and brake upgrades. Guest Anonymous
I think I'm there..... I'm just shy of convincing myself to "just" turbo the l6 instead of putting in a v6. If so, I'm definately game to save $300 or so. Feb. might be too late for me though, move it up some ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com

Guest scca
it can be moved up if/when we get 10. maybe in january will be slow at SDS and they may negotiate some better than 10% off for 5 sets? even 15% off is better than 10. ------------------ Mike mike@fonebooth.com http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes.html raceparts and brake upgrades. BLKMGK
Hey now - it works for V8s too ya' know My hangup with it is that I'm used to "more sophisticated" stuff and want data logging. Okay Okay - without data logging there's nothing to hook my laptop to and tinker but still.... Heh, the SDS is supposed to be fine for most normal stuff. I'm just not very knowledgable about it and can't help but wonder how well it would work for me. don't want to be a pioneer just yet. Carb first, EFI later. Guest Anonymous
I am definately just turboing' my engine now, no v6 for me. The money I save is for a big turbo and sds instead of pricey and non-adjustable JWT stuff for the v6. Count me in whenever, I would like to have all the parts to be able to get it running over the holidays. ie. soon. ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com

Guest Anonymous
I'm converting a 510 to EFI and I was going to use the Nissan stuff, but a 20% discount is awfully tempting. It would cut into the restoration budget, but what the heck, the interior can wait another year. I think that after the first of the year would be best for me. Is the purchase for all the same unit? Or can we choose from ignition / non ignition units? J R Gary El Dorado Hills, CA
Guest Anonymous
Sign me up for the group purchase. What is the time frame, because I was just getting ready to mail out a check last week to SDS. I'd like to have my car together around christmas. ------------------ -Dave 1970 2-door 510 w/2.3 long rod

Guest scca
i see the 510 crowd has found us.. maybe SCCA will allow FI in GT4 class and then i'll need it for the race car too! as far as the timeline it can be whenever there are 10 people to do it. as for payment it would have to be check or m.order. i am having to buy them thru my co. to get the disc. idont think they will let me use ccard for that and drop ship. i normally take ccards but couldnt here as i am making nothing and passing the 20% on to whoever orders. visa costs me 3% so if you want to pay with ccard then add 3% back in. ------------------ Mike mike@fonebooth.com http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes.html raceparts and brake upgrades. Guest scca
sds offers business' (and zcar.com) a 10 % for one setup. if i buy it thru the business each setup will be 10% off until i hit 10. then all future ones will be at 20.. hence its better to get 10 to start.... ------------------ Mike mike@fonebooth.com http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes.html raceparts and brake upgrades. Guest Anonymous
Count me in for sure ASAP. If not, I guess I'll have to live with 10% off. I need to figure out how to get that educational discount..... ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
Guest scca
oh and the system can be anything.. any config. 1 set = 10% off 10 sets = 20% off it may go larger-- never asked. i'm thinking the EM3e for me dont know if i want the distibutor less for the extra $300 if it was the race car.... yes. ------------------ Mike mike@fonebooth.com http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes.html raceparts and brake upgrades.
