Guest Anonymous Posted July 7, 2001 Share Posted July 7, 2001 okay i was checking out the SDS site and their 6F (crank trigger,coil packs, 64 ignition retard locatoins) package really caught my fancy but the only downfall is that they don't make a 8F. could i possibly get away with running two 4F units, one for each head??? just do some fancy programing?? if they don't sell what i'm looking for who does???? i would really like to have coil packs and a crank trigger and also that preset ignition retard would be nice for possible NOS use Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Anonymous Posted July 28, 2001 Share Posted July 28, 2001 my old motor settup was sds to controll the induction.for the ignition i used a mallory unilite dist to trigger a msd digital 6 , which comes with an adjustable retard for NOS. when i went to a dual stage NOS system i just added another timing retard box that activated when the second stage came on.this was on a 6cyl L motor. but, i don`t see why it shouldn`t work just peachy on a v-8.
