fl327
ok heres what happened, i went to school right, nigth class, came back to my car at about 10pm, and it would not kick over? im like WTF? drove this car 700 miles this week. turns out no spark to the coil, so i jumped the coil and it fired right up and promptly drove him, im wondering what could cause something like this, i mean when it starts it runs fine and ran completely fine to that point, im looking at the igniter right now, anyone have an educated guess as to whats causing this? TomoHawk
Make sure your starting relays are kicking things in. Maybe check for battery voltage at the coil when the key is on START? It's -ALWAYS- something simple, but what?
fl327
another lame one, the pin connector for the ignition switch was loose, so it would give intermittant starting and loosened up the part that goes power to coil, i just messed with the pin, cleaned it, and boom on my way again. thanx though,-iu went for the relays first, i keep a lot in the center console just in case.
