Raven
So I'm looking at doing a smog legal Chevy swap, and I really do want to get it reffed. As far as I can tell, its going to be a b**** and a half to get an LS1 swap certified, but a pre-OBD II LT1 swap shouldn't be nearly as bad, right? Has anyone gone through the ref process with either? I want to be sure that the relative ease of the LT1 is truly worth the performance loss. Additionally, for you smog-legal guys, how did you deal with headers? Technically you need the stock Camaro headers, but I'm fairly sure that didn't happen, so how did you deal with that? trackzpeed
If your car is 75 or older its smog exempt........ No worries. Otherwise you're screwed.
