RockRider199 Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 I have a 71 240z with an l28 and round top hitachi carburetors. It does have an electric fuel pump with a pressure regulator to keep the fuel pressure down to about 3.25 psi for the carburetors. The problem is that when I am accelerating as soon as I reach about 4500 rpms it stops pulling. With my foot flat on the floor the revs will keep pick up a little bit but it seams like it hits a brick wall and is making zero power at that point.
