gdv350ss
Matt, Check out this site - they have a power steering setup that looks to be the same and at a better price. They also sell many other quality Z upgrade parts and have a good reputation. http://www.silverminemotors.com/datsun/datsun-280z/power-steering-kit-electric Doug Edited December 19, 2017 by gdv350ss
racer
Thanks for the heads up Doug, I have looked at that system. I like the Zpowersteering set up because I've drive a 240z with it fitted and it has great feel. Hopefully someone else has used them before. texis30O
The Z powersteering set ups are good. I am about to buy one , the main differences between the two units is the ele motor that is used. one is a OEM type motor and the other is not to OEM spec. I do know someone who autocrosses their car regularly on the Silvermine setup and he swears by it.

AZhitman
Hi Matt - All emails were replied to immediately, including this last one. I suspect it might be time for you to upgrade carriers (I'm a fan of gmail, simply because it works - always).

That motor is not even intended for automotive applications. We've addressed this here: http://zpowersteering.com/beware-cheap-imitations/ I'm sure they do a fine job with reselling and dropshipping for the Z community, but there's no comparison in the electric power steering realm. I know how much R&D we put into this.
