ZR8ED Posted August 22, 2002 Share Posted August 22, 2002 Well I sold and shipped an L28 to the US, and I had to have it weighed. motor,head, cams, oilpan..no oil.. no flywheel, no starter, no distributor, no fan/clutch, no intake. but had headers. Including a 44x44 inch skid and a box made from 1/2" plywood.. 32" high. and various 2x4's for bracing, The whole smack came to 600lbs. I figure 50-75lbs for the wood... Don't know if it helps..but..
