Nissan made several VG engines.

VG30ET found in the HZ31/Cima/Gloria in RWD form.

VG30DET was a single turbo DOHC engine pushing 255Hp with a single T25 turbo.255hp was @ 6000rpm. this engine was found in the Cima/Gloria Y31-Y33 cars...

i have gotten prices of $800 for these engines.

there were 2 VG30ET's put into the 300zx(z31).

the '84-'87 had 200HP @ 5200rpms, short crank snout, 7.8:1 compression, T3 turbo.

these had top feed fuel injectors,6.7psi stock boost.

the '88-'89 VG30ET had 205hp @ 5200rpms, longer crank snout, 8.3:1 compression, T25 turbo, these had side feed injectors, 4.5psi stock boost, and w type pistons(floating) like the Z32.

'84 thru mid '87 the turbo cars had a borg warner T5.they had a 240mm clutch.

mid '87 thru 2/'89 had a nissan unit.they had a 250mm clutch.

the borg warner can be identified y its 2 piece construction.the later nissan unit is a single piece and much beefier.

'88-'89 ECU was much better too.

nissan also made VG20ET,VG33E etc...

any questions on VG engines ask.

BTW all VG engines had a bore and stroke of 87mmx83mm except for the VG33E wich had a 91.5mmx83mm.
