warrenp Posted October 9, 2002 Share Posted October 9, 2002 have you looked in to any other alternitives? like a v8? i only say this becasue the vg30edtt is a bitch to work on. also they are very cramped in a 90+ it's going to be just as cramped if not more in a z31. i have seen it done. so i'm not saaying it can't be done. besides turbo's are just a replacement to cubic inches any way. v8 is much cheeper to work on and much more easy. just a suggestion. Guest Anonymous Posted October 30, 2002 Share Posted October 30, 2002 putting a vg30dett in a z31 would cost probably near $10k, not to mention all the hard work involved. you could put in a v8 for alot less, or heck, even build up your vg30et to make more power. a guy on z31.com built a 550hp vg30et himself for about $5000. so, do what you want.
