supercharge for my 240

well,

for anybody wondering i called for the supercharger, it costs

2300 bucks with carburation

4000 without it

 

so im assuming this means i pay 2300 bucks and use my webers? i dunno. anybody?

Hrm, I can't help but wonder if a ZXT swap might be a better cheaper option. I chatted with a guy the other day that said people were actually GIVING him older beat up ZXTs so I'm sure you could find one cheap enough to yank the drivetrain from. I have to admit that in some ways I almost wish I'd done one of those swaps just so I could tinker with a turbo motor icon_smile.gif Hrm, second Z perhaps? (lol)

the jim cook racing supercharger is $2300 for just the superchager and manifold... it is $4000 for the supercharger manifold and holley projection FI system and computer... you can also order a number of different pulley sizes to get anywhere from 6 to 15 PSI boost... i am planning as of now to do this upgrade... i already swapped in a 2.8L and the FI harness and still want more power... and this is more cost affective then shaving the head to get high compression or boring it out to a 3.1L... anyway just my two cents
