Guest Anonymous
Its out of a probe gt or something. It is about 13" long, 7" tall, and 3" thick. The inlet/outlets are onlt 2" o/d though, but isnt that what they are on a starion? The tubes also look fairly small, but does that affect flow? I am asking because I put on the 240sx TB, and I have to get a new J pipe bent up, but instead of spending the money getting that bent, i was just going to put on my i/c if it was worth it, but if not I was just going to wait until I got a good i/c. thank you Scott ps: does that airfilter look good? i found it at a junkyard for 80 cents . Guest Tim78zt
Hi Scott! I think you should try it out. BTW, it is from the Probe/ Mazda MX6. I have one just like it (not in my car, though). From what everyone has told me it has not been tried, so you should do it in the interest of science and let us know things like pressure drop and efficincy. Who know, you may like it so much you'll want to buy mine and have dual ICs, just like the 300 and Supra guys. Tim78zt
Guest Anonymous
Tim, I would but I am very $$$ constrained, I wish i had the cash to try new things, I just want a tried and true good i/c . Have you heard anything about a supra i/c? I can get a supra i/c with all the piping for a 1gen datsun for a decent price. Thanks guys Scott
Cody 82 ZXT
Scott, As for the Probe intercooler I think it may be a little small for our cars. I think they were in 2.0 liter range. Right? Anyway the Supra intercoolers are supposed to be pretty good. Both the Mark I and the Mark II models should have plenty of flow potential.
