Guest Anonymous
picking up my 240z in a few weeks and was thinking that a turbo is probably the cheapest and easiest way to get power. so...what kind of money am i looking at? i was reading a few other posts and someone said that you can get big power gains out of a cam and smoe head work. is this cheaper or better or anything? i just want around 200hp to the wheels. please help if you can. thanks. fl327
i think 83zxt put out 180hp and 205lbs with no more mods and big exhaust and no smog you could be close to 200hp, maybe 2k if you do all the work yourself, no?

Guest Anonymous
I'd go turbo as well. A good percentage of guys running turbo's now, once went the full maryanne N/A L6 with hot cams and mikuni's or webers, headers etc. Bang for buck? Turbo wins hands down. Make friends with your local Nissan dismantler and find a JY turbo motor, the bottom ends seem to last forever, and they make very respectable HP with a bit of tweekin' on the boost knob and adding a intercooler. I don't know prices as I havn't priced a used L6 turbo, but you shouldn't have to spend a fortune making it pretty fast.
