Guest Aaron
I was just wondering if you guys have seen this and if you thinkd it would make any real difference. If so, $299 seems kind of steep. Could it be self build for less? www.electricsupercharger.com
Guest Anonymous
I asked the guy about this once, my theory was the alternator would probably kill the diff in power when it came on, he said no its all legit etc etc, blah blah blah.. For about 150.00 you can change most cam's which will give you a EASY 4-12+ hp Guaranteed ALL THE TIME not just when the 'fan' is on. If its to good to be true, it probably is, most people BTW will never feel 4 hp improvement, just a change in sparkplug could yield that and you wouldn't know. Spend the money on a big ass wing and some stickers, the Honduh guys tell me thats work the easy 4-12hp. Just kidding. I am constantly amused at the snake oil sold for cars. How about the 'magnetic' fuel chargers that improve mileage and all the other claims. Ya know a while a back I laughed my self sick at an idea which people would spend money on and it would be be unethical but technically not outright lying. 1) Place a ad in whatever smut sight you wish saying 'Add inches to your Penis' 2) Receive orders people are pathetic about this stuff and feeling inadequate. 3) Send them the 'product' for $19.99 4) Laugh yourself to the bank until the postmaster ask you to stop it. The 'product' consist of a .99 cent cloth ruler and a felt marker. Get it, add inches to your penis, you know lay it on there and mark off the inches. For the rest of the world, just use a MM cloth rule. No I ask you, doesn't that make you want to giggle your ass off? Regards, Lone
blueovalz
The Tech overview is interesting. Without a more intense investigation, their claims appear to be quite reasonable, and performance increases are not out of line. I made a true ram-air for my 240SX that gave me enough of a power increase that my "passing" time around a vehicle (at highway speeds) in 5th gear was nearly the same as it was in 4th gear before the ram-air. In fact, it was almost the same gain as the Unorthodox racing pulley improvement. Their claim of 1/2 lb of pressure at the intake also appeared very reasonable. Would I buy it? Probaly not, but this is the first electric charger I've seen that I felt was not blatantly overstating their performance. Very interesting. Guest kc6wfs
hehe. I'd never pop that money for one for the min HP gain. But what if you were running 3x webbers and hooked up 6!!!! 1 for each horn. Then I bet it would do something. Dave
Guest Anonymous
I'm sorry but that thing is a scam. Its been around for quite a while under different names. AFAIK If your engine was breathing at full throttle, its sucking alot more then 750CFM.
Guest MegaShaft_2000
I know people who were dumb enough to buy it. It actually degraded performance slightly. The fan is more of a restriction than a helper.
