Guest Anonymous Posted March 24, 2002 Share Posted March 24, 2002 ok, trying to program the electramotive,(and thanks for your help James) but i didn't want to bother you anymore. but can someone give me an idea what the timing should be at say 18 psi. i just want an idea. pings like heck at 18 degrees, took it to 8, and it quit. so, am i an idiot or what? ok, pump gas..... thanks for all help. 240Z Turbo Posted March 24, 2002 Share Posted March 24, 2002 You don't just want to keep taking out timing until you ended up at 8 deg. I would not go below 18deg and I run about 24-26deg on my setup. Keep it in the 18-20deg range and add more fuel until pinging stops.
